Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026 Effective date: July 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Falcon Tech ("Falcon Tech," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information in connection with our software applications and websites, including TurfPro, PressurePro, and other trade-specific apps (the "Services").
The short version:
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell or "share" your End Customers' personal information — not for money, not for cross-context advertising, not ever.
- We only collect the information needed to provide the Services, run billing, keep the platform secure, and support you.
- We protect information with encryption in transit and at rest, tenant isolation, and access controls.
- Your End Customers' data belongs to you (the Operator). We only process it on your behalf to run the Services.
Defined terms ("Operator," "End Customer," "Operator Data") have the meanings given in our Terms of Service.
1. Who this policy covers and our two roles
This policy applies to:
- Operators — the trade businesses/professionals who register and use the Services.
- End Customers — your customers, whose information you enter into the Services.
- Visitors — people who visit our marketing sites.
Our role differs depending on whose data it is:
- For Operator account information and visitor information, we are the controller/business — we decide how it's used, as described here.
- For End Customer information that an Operator enters (contacts, properties, quotes, invoices, photos, messages), the Operator is the controller/business and Falcon Tech is a processor/service provider acting only on the Operator's instructions. Our handling of that data is governed by the Data Processing Addendum. If you are an End Customer with a privacy request, please contact the Operator (the business you work with); we will assist them as required.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide as an Operator:
- Account/registration — name, business name, email, phone, password, and business details (e.g., service area/ZIP, business address).
- Billing — subscription plan and payment method details processed by the App Store or our subscription/payment providers. We do not store your full card number.
- Support — information you include when you contact us.
2.2 Operator Data you enter about your business and End Customers:
- End Customer contact details (name, address, email, phone), property information, quotes, invoices, and payment status, job records and photos, notes, maintenance plans, chemical/application records, and communications you send through the Services.
2.3 Information from your use of the Services:
- Usage and device data — app/feature interactions, log data, device and browser type, IP address, and diagnostic/crash data (via error-monitoring tools) used to operate, secure, and improve the Services.
- Location-related data — property addresses and route information you enter or generate; we use mapping/route services to provide routing features.
- Local storage — we store authentication tokens and preferences on your device to keep you signed in and remember settings.
2.4 Information from integrations you connect:
- If you connect QuickBooks Online, Stripe, or similar, we exchange the data necessary to provide that feature (e.g., invoice/customer records for accounting sync, connected-account status for payments).
3. Payment information — what we do and don't see
When your End Customers pay your invoices, payments are processed by Stripe under your own Stripe connected account. Falcon Tech does not receive, hold, or have access to those funds and does not store full card numbers. We may receive limited, non-sensitive transaction metadata (e.g., that an invoice was paid, amount, timestamp, last-four/brand where provided by Stripe) to reflect payment status in the Services. See Section 5 of the Terms of Service.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide and operate the Services and their features;
- Process subscriptions and billing;
- Communicate with you about your account, security, changes, and support;
- Secure the platform — detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- Improve the Services, including through aggregated or de-identified analytics that do not identify you or any End Customer;
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms.
We process Operator-entered End Customer data only to provide the Services to the Operator and on the Operator's instructions.
5. We do not sell or share personal information
We do not sell your personal information or your End Customers' personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar laws. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own marketing.
6. When we disclose information
We disclose information only as follows:
6.1 Service providers (subprocessors). We use vetted vendors to run the Services (e.g., cloud hosting/database, payments, accounting sync, SMS/email delivery, mapping, subscription billing, error monitoring). They may process personal information only to perform services for us under contract and may not use it for their own purposes. See our current list in subprocessors.md.
6.2 At your direction. When you connect an integration or ask us to share data (e.g., syncing an invoice to QuickBooks, sending an email/SMS to an End Customer).
6.3 Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Falcon Tech, our users, or the public.
6.4 Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy continuing to govern the information.
None of these are sales of personal information.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business or legal purposes (e.g., records of transactions, tax, dispute resolution, security). Operators control the retention of Operator Data — you can edit or delete records, and you may export your data before closing your account. After account closure, we delete or de-identify Operator Data in the ordinary course within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business needs (such as billing records or legal holds).
8. How we protect information
We use reasonable and appropriate safeguards, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest by our hosting provider;
- Tenant isolation enforced by database row-level security so one Operator cannot access another's data;
- Access controls limiting internal access to what's necessary; and
- Reliance on providers (e.g., Stripe for card data) that maintain industry certifications.
No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please protect your account credentials and control who on your team has access.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to opt out of sale/sharing (we do not sell or share), and to not be discriminated against for exercising rights.
- Operators / visitors: submit a request to info@falcontech.io. We will verify your identity and respond as required by law.
- End Customers: because the Operator controls your data, please direct your request to the Operator you do business with. If you contact us, we will refer or assist as a service provider/processor.
California (CCPA/CPRA): the categories above describe the personal information we collect, our purposes, and disclosures to service providers. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit. You may exercise rights as described above; you may use an authorized agent.
EU/UK (GDPR), where applicable: for data where we are a controller, our legal bases are performance of a contract, our legitimate interests (operating and securing the Services), consent (where required), and legal obligations. Where we process End Customer data on an Operator's behalf, we do so as a processor under the DPA. You may have rights to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
10. Children's privacy
The Services are for business use and are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact info@falcontech.io and we will delete it.
11. Communications
We may send you service and transactional messages (e.g., account, security, billing) that you cannot opt out of while you have an account. Any marketing messages will include an unsubscribe option. Messages you send to your End Customers through the Services are your communications — you are responsible for consent and opt-outs (see Terms, Section 7).
12. Cookies and similar technologies
Our websites and apps use cookies and local storage for essential functions (such as keeping you signed in), preferences, and basic analytics/diagnostics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break functionality. We do not use cookies to sell your information or for cross-context behavioral advertising.
13. Data location and transfers
The Services are operated in the United States and information may be processed in the U.S. and in locations where our service providers operate. Where required for cross-border transfers, we rely on appropriate safeguards.
14. Third-party links and services
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party services (e.g., Stripe, Intuit/QuickBooks, Google). Their use of your information is governed by their privacy policies, not this one. We encourage you to review them.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. If changes are material, we will provide notice (e.g., email or in-app) and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
